Oncodrug has multidisciplinary, fully integrated drug-discovery capabilities with medicinal, synthetic and computational chemistry, high-throughput screening, assay development, cell biology, pharmacology, biomarker discovery and in vivo biology. As such, the company owns a complex array of advanced, sophisticated chemistry and biology equipment, including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry, purification systems, ultra-low volume dispensers, cell culture hoods, live cell imaging devices and many other scientific instruments.
Oncodrug moved most of its operations at the Heath, including all the chemistry and biology operations, in 2025. The company required laboratory space that is suited for both chemistry and biology research, which has very specific requirements such as air extraction for chemistry fume hoods and piped-in specialty gases, all within a footprint that was aligned with the company size and operational needs. Situated in a location that had been designed for this type of scientific research and production use, The Heath offered the perfect opportunity for Oncodrug to set up their new labs and carry on their cutting edge research.
The Heath team was very flexible in adapting the space to Oncodrug’s laboratory needs, and very supportive with the design and planning of our new labs. The availability of an on-site engineering support team with in-depth knowledge of the site is a great benefit for the smooth running of our labs.
